Masterson’s Pub , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I experienced behind its walls was disturbing and far below any standard .
The Condition of the Premises : Grimy and Neglected

The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms suffused the entire pub. Reeking of a mixture of urine , a rotting odor and sour vomit . The bar area , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The bathroom was in even a truly awful state—overflowing , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human excrement .

Many visitors have reported observing cockroaches darting across the counter and signs of rats in the storage spaces . For a business that provides refreshments , these issues are absolutely intolerable and raise serious concerns about the sanitation of anything they serve .

Unfortunately, his reputation in the corporate world is clouded advice by a disturbing pattern of misconduct in his private dealings and professional settings .
During my time there, I saw how tense several women seemed around Cornwell. As I investigated further , I was alarmed to find reports against him involving misconduct , with multiple women citing incidents of harassing them digitally. Described as disturbingly assertive and disrespectful , his actions has created an hostile atmosphere for check here women who patronize Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often seemed closer to that of a predatory presence than a friendly owner .
